A kaleidoscope induces so many associations with science – the infinity in the mirrored images, different perspectives on one detail, its mosaic-like structure composing an overall puzzle, the gaming component challenging observation and experimentation, the inevitable play with hazard and the constant thrill of a slightest move causing a tremendous effect.
I am highly interested in visual processing mechanisms in dyslexic children. Creating and looking into the typo-kaleidoscope is much fun!
