Resilient Survivors of Sexual Violence of the Rwandan Genocide

Despite all the horrific crimes committed against victims of international crimes (genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes), and in particular those who survived sexual violence, many of them find the strength to continue with their lives. It is fascinating and remarkable to see how they are able to do so, what forms of justice they look for, and how they find the strength to reconcile with and forgive the perpetrators. They teach us how important it is to remember our common humanity.
