The picture shows several thousand of Maoist sympathizers, supporters and party cadres arriving in Tikapur, a quiet little town in Kailali district in the western lowland of Nepal. It was taken in mid-April 2008, four days after the historic Constitutional Assembly elections. The election represented a major milestone in the political history of the country.
