Nanogalaxy

It is wonderful when you spend your evening in front of the scanning electron microscope (SEM) to investigate your nanoparticle sample. Then you feel yourself an astronaut in an amazing trip in space. This fascinating nanogalaxy comprises solid lipid nanoparticles (~ 100 nm in diameter) “stars or star clusters” orbiting in polymeric matrix “interstellar cloud” forming this ‘island universe’.
