If you feel down, being in nature soothes. Stressed people who profit most from taking a hike, visit nature least often. As a happiness researcher I ask why. An answer for me came when I was being interviewed on the radio about nature during a walk in a town park. I felt like a cheat: talking about the healing aspects of nature, but nerves preventing any relaxation. Afterwards I repeated the walk to discover what I have missed. This picture proofs my blindness was temporary.
